Automatic labeling of markers or Traqr configuration for skeleton tracking
To facilitate automatic labeling of markers, generic AIM models for the supported marker sets are included in QTM. The AIM models are stored in the QTM installation (default location: C:\Program files\Qualisys\Qualisys Track Manager) in the subfolder Models\AIM. For information about how to use AIM for different applications, refer to the following chapters:
-
For animation applications with the Qualisys Animation Marker Set, Full Fingers Marker Set and Claw Marker Set, see chapter Generating an AIM model for animation.
-
For sports and biomechanics applications with the Qualisys Sports Marker Set, see chapter Using AIM for sports and biomechanics.
The folder with generic AIM files includes a text file with the label list for each AIM model.
To apply one or more AIM model(s) follow these steps:
- Add the model(s) to the Applied models list on the AIM page in Project Options.
- Make sure that the Apply current AIM models is checked as an action (real time and capture) in the Processing page under Project Options.
When using the Traqr VR Marker Set, the Traqrs need to be configured and set up for rigid body tracking, see chapter Setting up the Traqrs for VR skeleton tracking.
