Manual editing of the skeleton definition
Once a skeleton is defined it is possible to influence the tracking by modifying the skeleton definition. The skeleton definition can be modified in two ways:
-
By importing a modified skeleton XML file.
-
Use the Save button in the Skeleton Solver page to export the skeleton definition XML file .
-
Edit the XML file in a text editor, for example Notepad. For more information about editing the skeleton definition, see chapter Skeleton XML editing.
-
Use the Load button in the Skeleton Solver page to import the modified skeleton definition XML file .
-
-
By sending an XML packet via the real time protocol, see the QTM RT Protocol documentation included in the QTM installation for more information.
To apply a modified skeleton definition to existing captures they need to be reprocessed with the modified skeleton definition.
All manual modifications will be undone when recalibrating a skeleton in QTM. If you want to apply the same modification to subsequent calibrations, consider using a skeleton template instead.
