Identifying trajectories

Once your data has had the automatic processing actions applied, you can proceed to checking the trajectories. A trajectory is the path of a single marker recorded during motion capture. QTM will automatically identify trajectories, and if you are using an Automatic Identification of Markers (AIM) model, it will also associate each trajectory with a label. (This is covered in the upcoming section on Using AIM models.) To get the most out of your Qualisys system, it is helpful to have a good understanding of trajectories and how QTM uses them. The following chapters explain how trajectories are displayed in QTM and how to label or discard them.
