Using AIM models

AIM (Automatic Identification of Markers) is a function in QTM that automatically identifies and labels your trajectories as long as a model has been created for that marker set. AIM models can be created to track any marker configuration for any type of motion performed by any type of subject, whether human, animal, or object.

AIM models are also learning models. The connections between the markers are defined by the original trial, but new trials can be added to the model to give it additional examples of distances and angles between markers. Adding new trials to an AIM model will help the software apply it more easily to future test subjects.

The following chapters explain how to create and use AIM models to automatically label trajectories.
