Use generic AIM model to create unique models
If you are measuring multiple subjects with the same marker configuration you can create specific AIM models for each subject based on a generic AIM model. The advantage is that this allows for identification of individual subjects.
-
First, follow the steps in Similar subjects
-
Add the AIM model to the Applied models list on the AIM page in the Project options dialog.
-
Set Nr To Apply to the number of subjects to be tracked simultaneously.
-
Optionally, enable Use random trajectory color for each AIM file. This will help to distinguish the subjects from one another.
-
Make a measurement with multiple subjects.
-
-
Select the trajectories of one subject in the 3D view or the trajectory list.
-
Optionally, a prefix can be added to the selected labels by right-clicking on the selection and clicking Add prefix to selection.... This can be helpful to distinguish subjects from each other, especially when using the same colors scheme.
-
Right-click on the selection and click Generate AIM model from selected trajectories....
-
Generate the AIM model as described in chapter Generating an AIM model.
-
Repeat steps 2. to 4. for each subject.
-
Start tracking.
