Using the trajectory editor
The trajectory editor is a feature in QTM designed to streamline the viewing and editing of trajectories. It allows you to view all components of a trajectory and process them in a single interface. It can be especially useful for locating spikes, filling gaps, and smoothing your data. More advanced users may also find it helpful for fixing complicated trajectories or for working with virtual trajectories.
The following chapters show how to change the graphing options and how to use the zoom and navigation functions. Upcoming sections will then cover how to use the trajectory editor to fill gaps and smooth data.
