Fixing complicated trajectories
Occasionally, you may run into some trajectory complications when reviewing your motion capture data. Even if QTM identifies a trajectory as belonging to a single marker, this does not always mean it is from a single marker. You may find that a trajectory has switched the marker it is associated with during the course of the recording. Another possible issue is that QTM could identify multiple trajectories as all being for the same marker. In this case, they would be listed as separate parts of the same trajectory.
Complications like these can often be solved by re-labeling, swapping, or splitting the trajectories as described in the following chapters.
