Using AIM models

AIM (Automatic Identification of Markers) allows you to create and train models of marker sets that QTM will use to automatically identify and label your trajectories. AIM models can be created to track any type of motion performed by any type of subject, including humans, animals, flexible or fixed objects, and structures. AIM can be applied both to captured files and in real-time, making it a powerful data processing tool and time-saver.

The following chapters explain how to create and use AIM models to automatically label trajectories. Note that automatic identification of rigid objects is covered in Using rigid bodies.
