Using the skeleton solver

The skeleton solver is a feature in QTM that calculates and displays skeleton data based on specific marker configurations. The skeleton data can then be streamed in real time to external software. The following chapters show you how to get started creating a label list for custom marker sets, defining and identifying the skeleton for individual actors, and using the skeleton data in QTM.

You can follow along with the QAcademy tutorial How to apply the Qualisys animation marker set for details on correct marker placement.

To incorporate data from motion capture gloves, please refer to the QAcademy tutorial How to use glove data with the skeleton solver.
