Connecting the cameras
In a typical markerless system, cameras are connected to each other in chains of three and then linked through the Ethernet switch.
-
Use camera cables to set up each daisy chain, linking up to three cameras as well as the camera sync unit if you are using one.
-
A camera cable then connects each daisy chain to a power injector.
-
Use host cables to connect the power injectors to the 1 Gbit ports on the Ethernet switch.
-
Once all of the daisy chains are powered and connected to the switch, use an additional Ethernet cable to connect a 10 Gbit port on the switch to the computer running QTM.
