What is an AIM model?
An AIM model is generated from a recorded motion capture file with labeled trajectories.
The model contains the marker labels and the spatial relationships between markers throughout the recorded movement. It also stores the colors of the markers and the visual bones connecting them.
An AIM model can be applied to any measurement of similar motions with the same marker set, even on a different subject. QTM will then automatically identify and label the 3D trajectories.

An AIM model can also be trained with additional measurements—for example, using different subjects or movements. Adding new trials to an AIM model helps generalize it so that it can be applied to a wider variety of measurements.
