Real-time protocol
The real-time protocol makes it possible to write external applications that can control QTM and receive real-time data. The real-time protocol is implemented in a range of SDKs and QTM Connect modules for external software for real-time control and communication with QTM. All resources are available on Github (https://github.com/qualisys) and the Qualisys website (https://www.qualisys.com/downloads/).
SDKs are available for:
-
C++
-
C# (.NET)
-
Python
-
JavaScript
Resources for engineering:
-
QTM Connect for Matlab
-
QTM Connect for LabVIEW
-
ROS resources
-
Qualisys Drone SDK
Resources for animation:
-
QTM Connect for MotionBuilder
-
QTM Connect for Unreal
-
QTM Connect for Unity
-
QTM Connect for Maya
QTM also supports the Open Sound Control (OSC) protocol for sound and multimedia applications and devices.
Full documentation of the real-time protocol is included with the QTM installer and is available online at https://docs.qualisys.com/qtm-rt-protocol/.
