The Naked Traqr
The Naked Traqr consists of a circuit board and a set of components that can be embedded in an object that needs to be tracked. The Naked Traqr works just like the Active Traqr with the added benefit that it allows you to seamlessly integrate Qualisys active marker technology into custom objects. A single Naked Traqr unit supports up to eight sequence coded markers.
The Naked Traqr can be used in a wide variety of applications. Two typical examples are:
-
Location Based Virtual Reality
The Naked Traqr can be embedded into props, such as HMDs or VR weapons. This way the props can be reliably tracked without the need to add markers that are visible to the eye. -
Engineering applications
The Naked Traqr can be embedded in moving objects for reliable real-time tracking. The active markers can be used on both rigid or flexible objects, making use of the sequential coding for identification of single markers or markers in a rigid body configuration. An additional advantage of the use of active markers is that it helps to avoid the interference of extra reflections otherwise caused by the strobes of the cameras when tracking reflective objects or in an environment with many reflective elements.
Naked Traqr description
The Naked Traqr package includes the following components:
-
Naked Traqr PCB
-
IR detector
-
IR LEDs (8x)
-
150mm cables (20x)
-
8-pin connectors for IR LEDs (2x)
