Qualisys Full Fingers Marker Set

The Qualisys Full Fingers Marker Set is dedicated to hand animation applications using the Qualisys Skeleton Solver. For detailed information about the Qualisys Full Fingers Marker Set, you can open the marker set guide via the Skeleton menu.

There are no AIM models included for the Qualisys Full Fingers Marker Set. It is because the markers on the fingers differs a lot so it is recommended that a new AIM model is created for each subject. To get the correct marker names, use the label lists included in the installation of QTM in the subfolder Models\AIM\:

  • Animation_FullFingers.txt
    Label list with the default markers for the Animation marker set and the Full Fingers marker set.

  • Animation_Optional_FullFingers.txt
    Label list including default and all the optional markers for the Animation marker set and default markers for the Full Fingers marker set.

  • FullFingers_left.txt, FullFingers_Right.txt
    Label lists with the default markers for the Full Fingers marker set, respectively for the left and right hand . These label lists can be used to create individual AIM models for identifying the hands. The resulting AIM models can't be combined with the Animation AIM models, because then the marker labels will overlap. Use the Animation_FullFingers or Animation_Optional_FullFingers label lists to combine Animation and Full Fingers marker set.
