Editing of trajectories
The Trajectory Editor can be used to view and edit trajectory data. Manual editing trajectory data should be the last step in the processing of trajectories. Before editing trajectory data, it is important to make sure that the quality of the tracking is optimal, and that the identification of trajectories is correct and as complete as possible. Remaining irregularities of trajectories can be edited with the Trajectory Editor.
The main functions of the Trajectory Editor are:
- Locating and filling gaps,
- Detecting and smoothing artifacts.
You can open the Trajectory Editor window in the following ways:
- By clicking Trajectory Editor in the View menu,
- By clicking the Trajectory Editor button on the Trajectory toolbar,
- Via the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + T.
The functions and lay-out of the Trajectory Editor is described in chapter Trajectory Editor window.
The following chapters describe in more detail how to use the Trajectory Editor.
