Eye tracking hardware in QTM
There are two levels of integration for the eye trackers. Some eye trackers are integrated in QTM so their data is captured with the rest of the data. Then there are other eye trackers where the data needs to be captured in their own program and then the data can be combined in other software such as Matlab.

Tobii - www.tobii.com
QTM supports Tobii Pro Glasses 2 and 3. The gaze vector data from Tobii can be captured directly in QTM. The gaze vectors can then be viewed and exported. The settings and how to handle the data is described in the chapter Tobii eye trackers.

ASL - www.asleyetracking.com
ASL has made a integration called EyeHead to their Mobile Eye EyeVison program that retrieves 6DOF data from QTM in real time. In addition to head tracking, the ASL integration can also calculate gaze vectors and intersection points for gaze vectors and surfaces. For a basic description of the integration see chapter ASL EyeHead integration. For any detailed question about the ASL integration please refer to ASL support or their manual. -
Smart-Eye - smarteye.se
For the Smart-eye hardware it is possible for the Qualisys system to lock on the capture frequency of the Smart Eye camera. Then the start synchronization is handled via a real time event from QTM that is sent to the Smart eye software. Finally the Smart Eye and Qualisys systems can be aligned via markers on the Smart eye calibration equipment. For questions about the Smart eye integration please contact support@qualisys.com.
