For an overview of Oqus cameras that can be used for streaming video and their sensor specifications, see Qualisys video sensor specifications (in-camera MJPEG).

High-speed video

A selection of Oqus camera types can be equipped to capture full-frame, full-speed, full-resolution high-speed video. In this configuration the camera is equipped with a large 1.1 GB buffer memory and a clear front glass to get the best possible performance out of the image capture.

The below table gives an overview of the sensor specifications, sensor modes and video buffer capacity for all Oqus high-speed cameras, when in video mode. The specifications are only applicable to uncompressed video (8-bit raw images). Note that the number of frames that can be stored in the buffer can be increased by cropping the image.

The maximum measurement duration (in seconds) at full resolution and maximum capture rate is indicated in the table below. For other combinations of image size (X, Y in pixels) and capture frequency use the following formula to calculate the maximum capture duration:

When using Oqus high-speed video, take into account prolonged data fetch times after a capture. The data transfer time for a full buffer memory (1.1 GB) can be several minutes.
